Latest Microoptics developments allow to fabricate lens arrays at extreme precision by imprint in curable plastic materials. With the perfect control of lens surface shape, variation of refractive index in the bulk of Microoptics assembly become important and might be a factor influencing the quality of optical components. The project focusses on characterization of optical material parameters and its measurement to allow conclusions on element quality and production process improvements.
Project Partners:
Lynceetec – Spezialists in holographic microscopy
SussMicrooptics – Microoptics manufacturer
Fluxim – Simulation if material properties
EPFL/EMPA – Material research and characterisation
